The Shield of FR Fabric
Flame-resistant base layer fabrics are engineered to self-extinguish upon removal from a flame source, protecting the wearer's skin from thermal burns and arc flash injuries. Our FR fabrics combine inherent or treated flame resistance with exceptional stretch, breathability and next-to-skin comfort — critical for workers in oil & gas, electrical utilities, military and emergency services who must wear FR protection for extended shifts.

High-performance Flame-resistant Fabric
YV-P599568 is a high-performance flame-resistant fabric engineered for protective workwear in high-risk environments. With a blend of 40% Wool, 40% Lenzing Viscose, and 20% Aramid, this 320gsm fabric delivers a unique combination of comfort, durability, and safety.
The integration of Aramid fibers provides permanent flame resistance, ensuring reliable protection without compromising on wearer comfort. The wool content offers natural insulation and moisture regulation, while Lenzing Viscose contributes a soft hand feel and excellent breathability.
Aramid-based T-shirt
Engineered for demanding protective applications, this Aramid-based T-shirt fabric offers an optimal balance of strength, comfort, and durability. The combination of 90% aramid fiber and 10% elastic nylon delivers inherent flame resistance, high tensile strength (≥300 N), and excellent tear resistance, making it suitable for military, law enforcement, and industrial safety wear.
Flame-Resistant Garment
Engineered for protection and performance, this Flame-Resistant Garment is crafted from a premium blend of 60% Flame-Retardant Modacrylic and 40% Cotton, with a fabric weight of 350 gsm for enhanced durability and thermal insulation.
Application Areas
FR base layers protect workers in the most hazardous thermal environments across multiple industries.
Tactical
FR base layers are integral to combat uniform layering systems — protecting soldiers against explosive blasts, flash fire and thermal threats in both desert and arctic deployments.
- Blast and flash-fire protection
- Under-body-armor comfort
- NATO layering system compliant
Oil & Gas Industry
Petroleum workers in refineries and on rigs require certified FR layers under their coveralls at all times — NFPA 2112 compliance is non-negotiable for HSE departments.
- NFPA 2112 certified
- No melt-drip hazard
- Full-shift comfort under coveralls
Electrical Utilities
Arc-rated base layers protect utility linemen working on high-voltage systems and switchgear operations — IEC 61482-2 rated for secondary arc flash protection.
- IEC 61482-2 arc rated
- Anti-static treatment
- Heat stress reduction
Emergency Services
Firefighters, paramedics and emergency responders rely on FR base layers for thermal protection in unpredictable situations — from structural fires to wildland firefighting operations.
- Structural & wildland fire ready
- Rapid moisture cooling
- Long-wear odor control
