Company & Partnership
Who is Youvion?
Youvion is a specialized functional fabric manufacturer and one-stop solution provider based in Shanghai, China, serving outdoor apparel brands, tactical gear makers, and global B2B customers since 2015. We offer comprehensive services including fabric R&D, custom woven and knitted textiles with moisture-wicking, anti-bacterial, waterproof, flame-retardant, and high-stretch performance. Backed by a senior technical team and certified with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OEKO-TEX, GRS, and Bluesign, we serve customers in over 50 countries with flexible MOQ and fast delivery. Our mission is 'Expertise in Every Thread, Excellence in Every Fabric.'
Are you a manufacturer or a trading company?
We are a manufacturer with our own knitting, weaving, dyeing, and finishing facilities, supplemented by a trading division for complementary products. This hybrid model gives you factory-direct pricing and quality control on our core products, plus the flexibility to source complementary fabrics from partner mills. Unlike pure trading companies, we control the entire production process and can guarantee quality, lead times, and intellectual property protection. We welcome factory visits to verify our manufacturing capabilities firsthand.
Where is your factory located?
Our factory is located in Shanghai, China, at No.1188 Lianhang Road, Minhang Area, postal code 201100. Shanghai is one of the world's largest ports, providing efficient shipping access to global markets. Our location also gives us access to a deep talent pool of textile engineers and a mature supply chain for raw materials. For international visitors, Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG) is approximately 45 minutes from our facility. We can arrange airport pickup and accommodation for visiting customers.
How long have you been in the textile industry?
Youvion was founded in 2015, but our founding team brings over 20 years of textile manufacturing experience. We have grown from a small knitting workshop into a full-service functional fabric manufacturer with 6 knitting machines, 12 weaving looms, 4 dyeing ranges, and 2 finishing lines. Over the past decade, we have served more than 500 customers across 50+ countries, producing fabrics for outdoor brands, military contractors, athletic apparel companies, and industrial textile applications. Our growth is driven by continuous investment in R&D and quality systems.
What makes Youvion different from other fabric suppliers?
Three things set us apart: (1) Deep functional fabric expertise — we don't just manufacture fabric, we engineer performance through fiber science and finish technology; (2) Flexible MOQ — unlike large mills that require 5,000+ meter minimums, we support small-batch development and growing brands; (3) Full-service partnership — from R&D through to compliance documentation, we handle the complete fabric supply chain. Additionally, our response time is under 24 hours, we provide transparent pricing, and we maintain shade libraries for repeat-order consistency that few competitors can match.
What countries do you export to?
We export to over 50 countries including the United States, Canada, Germany, France, UK, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Australia, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Turkey, Mexico, Brazil, and more. Our top markets are North America (35%), Europe (30%), and Asia (25%). We have experience with import regulations, customs documentation, and certification requirements for all major markets. Our logistics team can recommend the most efficient shipping routes and methods for your specific destination.
Can I visit your factory?
Yes, we warmly welcome factory visits by appointment. A typical visit includes a tour of our knitting/weaving floor, dyeing and finishing facilities, QC testing laboratory, and sample showroom. We can also arrange meetings with our R&D team to discuss your specific fabric requirements. Visits typically take 2–4 hours. For international customers, we can provide invitation letters for visa applications and assist with travel and accommodation arrangements. Please contact us at least 2 weeks in advance to schedule a visit.
What is your company culture and values?
Our core values are: Expertise — we invest in continuous learning and technical excellence; Integrity — we honor our commitments and communicate transparently; Innovation — we embrace new technologies and sustainable practices; Partnership — we view customers as long-term partners, not transactions. Our slogan 'Expertise in Every Thread, Excellence in Every Fabric' reflects our commitment to quality at the most granular level. We foster a culture of continuous improvement, with annual training programs for all employees and a suggestion system that rewards process innovations.
Do you have a minimum annual commitment for partnerships?
No, we do not require minimum annual commitments. We work with customers of all sizes, from startups ordering 500 meters for their first collection to established brands ordering 50,000+ meters per season. For customers seeking preferred pricing, exclusive developments, or stock-holding arrangements, we offer partnership tiers based on annual volume: Bronze ($50K+), Silver ($100K+), Gold ($250K+), and Platinum ($500K+), each with increasing benefits such as discounted pricing, priority production slots, and dedicated account management.
How can I become a distributor for Youvion fabrics?
We welcome distributor partnerships in markets where we do not have direct representation. Distributor benefits include exclusive territory rights, preferred pricing, marketing support, and technical training. To qualify, distributors should have an established customer base in the textile or apparel industry, warehouse capability, and a commitment to minimum annual purchase volumes (typically $100K+). We provide product training, sample books, and co-marketing support. Contact us with your company profile and market coverage to discuss distributor opportunities.
Do you attend international trade shows?
Yes, we attend major textile and apparel trade shows including Performance Days (Munich/Shanghai), Techtextil (Frankfurt/Atlanta), ISPO Munich, Outdoor Retailer (Denver), and Première Vision (Paris). Trade shows are an excellent opportunity to see our latest fabric developments, meet our team, and discuss projects face-to-face. We post our trade show schedule on our website and social media. If you're attending a show we're exhibiting at, please schedule a meeting in advance to ensure dedicated time with our team.
What is your response time for inquiries?
We respond to all inquiries within 24 hours, and typically within 2–4 hours during business hours (GMT+8). For urgent matters, WhatsApp (+86-186-1608-2795) provides the fastest response. For fabric quotations, we provide initial pricing within 24–48 hours after receiving complete specifications. For complex development requests, we provide a project timeline and feasibility assessment within 3–5 business days. We pride ourselves on responsive communication — if you've worked with Chinese suppliers before, you'll find our response time and communication quality above average.
Do you provide after-sales support?
Yes, we provide comprehensive after-sales support including quality issue resolution, technical consultation, fabric performance troubleshooting, and reorder management. If you experience any issues with our fabric — whether quality defects, performance concerns, or wash care questions — our technical team is available to assist. For quality claims, we respond within 48 hours with an action plan. For ongoing programs, we assign a dedicated account manager who serves as your single point of contact for all needs.
Can you provide customer references or testimonials?
Yes, we can provide references from customers in your industry or region upon request, subject to their consent. We have served brands ranging from outdoor apparel companies in the US to tactical gear manufacturers in Europe to sportswear brands in Asia. Many of our customers have been with us for 5+ years and can speak to our quality consistency, communication, and partnership approach. We can also share case studies of specific fabric development projects, demonstrating our problem-solving capabilities and technical expertise.
What languages do you support for communication?
We primarily communicate in English and Chinese (Mandarin). Our sales team is fluent in English, and our technical documentation is available in English. For customers in specific markets, we can arrange communication in Spanish, French, or German through our partner network. All contracts, proforma invoices, and shipping documents are prepared in English. If you require communication in another language, please let us know and we will make arrangements to ensure clear and effective communication.
