OEM & ODM Services

Q

Can you match a competitor’s fabric specification?

A

Yes, we can analyze a competitor's fabric sample and develop a matching or improved version. Our lab performs composition analysis (burn test, chemical dissolution), construction analysis (yarn count, density, weave pattern), and performance testing (weight, stretch, hand feel, functional properties) to reverse-engineer the fabric. We then develop a production-ready version that matches or exceeds the original specification. This service is provided under NDA to protect your sourcing confidentiality. Turnaround time is 3–5 weeks from sample receipt to developed fabric.

Q

What industries do your OEM/ODM services serve?

A

We serve outdoor apparel, tactical and military, athletic and sportswear, workwear and safety, medical textiles, fashion and lifestyle, and transportation seating industries. Each industry has distinct requirements: outdoor needs waterproof-breathable and UV protection; tactical requires FR and NIR compliance; athletic demands moisture-wicking and stretch; workwear needs abrasion resistance and high-visibility; medical requires antimicrobial and sterile-compatible fabrics. Our R&D team has experience across all these sectors and can recommend optimal fabric solutions for your specific industry.

Q

Can you provide technical data sheets for your fabrics?

A

Yes, every fabric we produce comes with a comprehensive technical data sheet (TDS) including: composition, construction, weight (GSM), width, yarn count, color fastness ratings, physical properties (tensile/tear strength, elongation), functional performance data (MVTR, hydrostatic head, wicking grade), wash care instructions, and applicable certifications. The TDS is provided with samples and updated for bulk production. Technical data sheets are essential for your garment tech pack, quality documentation, and compliance records.

Q

Do you offer rapid prototyping for urgent development needs?

A

Yes, we offer expedited development for urgent projects with a 7–10 day turnaround for initial samples. Rapid prototyping uses digital printing for patterns, in-stock yarns for construction, and express lab dip services. This is ideal for trade show samples, investor presentations, or market testing where speed is more important than full customization. Once the rapid prototype is validated, we transition to standard development for the production-ready version. Rapid prototyping incurs a 30–50% surcharge over standard development rates.

Q

How do you handle design changes during OEM development?

A

Design changes during development are accommodated with transparent communication about cost and timeline impacts. Minor changes (color adjustment, weight fine-tuning) can usually be made within the existing timeline at no additional cost. Major changes (composition change, new finish, construction modification) may extend the timeline by 1–3 weeks and incur additional development fees. We document all change requests and their impacts in writing before proceeding, ensuring you have full visibility into the implications before making a decision.
